With Mercer Direct, you can use some of your super balance to invest in things you're interested in. Talk to Mercer Super adviser now.

Take control of your investments

Mercer Direct puts you in the driver's seat, with direct access to ASX 300 shares, term deposits and exchange traded funds.

Taking greater control of your own strategy means you know exactly where your super is invested without the cost of setting up and maintaining a Self-Managed Super Fund. And you continue to enjoy the added benefit of managed investments and access to competitive group insurance.

How it works

  • Mercer Direct lets you use some of your super balance to invest in things you wouldn’t usually be able to within a super account – for example ASX shares
  • You need a $20,000 balance to be eligible
  • It’s available to some, but not all plans in the Mercer Super Trust.

Benefits of Mercer Direct:

  • Use the funds to invest in ASX 300 shares, term deposits from ME Bank, Macquarie Bank and NAB and a selection of exchange traded funds (ETFs). Any existing restrictions on staff share trading still apply
  • Trade in real time
  • Access a simple consolidated investment summary
  • Switch back to other investment options at any time.

How to invest in Mercer Direct

  • Log in to your account and click on the ‘Investments’ tab
  • Choose the amount you want to transfer from your current investment option to Mercer Direct; use the dollar based switch option to do this
  • The switch will be confirmed within 2 business days, and then you can start investing.
